Yeah, the whole quality over quantity argument in a very subjective creative field feels like a logical fallacy to me.

There are definitely limits I feel for how long an album can be without getting tedious, but I think a healthy number of songs gives a band or artist room for left field ventures.

Not a huge TBS fan and only know about 3 of their albums, but I through Tidal Wave on this morning at gym and still is a banger of an album.

 

People that think albums should never be more than ten tracks are probably the same people who think you can't wear a band's shirt to their show
