Release My Mind, My Garden Grows

Visiting my parents this weekend and went over to a family friends house, who I haven’t seen in like 10 years and my man just gave me about 50 or so old records he had collecting dust in his basement. A lot of wear and tear on the majority of them and they weren’t stored well at all, but some true gems in there for me. Original presses of some Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, a ton of Marshal Tucker, live records from Willie Nelson, Skynyrd, Rush, and a bunch of others, even had some cool movie soundtracks in there like Apocalypse Now and Close Encounters. Pretty excited to get home and cleaned up so I can test some of them out.

Original pressings of The Stones? You might have something valuable there. Sounds like an awesome haul.

August has been quite a haul. I ordered and received:
    - Mxpx - southbound to San Antonio
    - Mxpx - find a way home
    - blink182- they came to conquer Uranus
    - story of the year - page Avenue
    - Green Day - Insomniac

then for my birthday, my family finished my classic rock wishlist on my discogs including: Led Zepplin III, Led Zepplin Physical Graffiti, Boston, The Cars, Pink Floyd Dark Side, David Bowie Honky Dory, David Bowie Let’s Dance, The Clash Combat Rock, the Cure disintegration, Tears for Fears songs from the big chair, Van Halen 1984, Def Leopard Pyromania, Aerosmith Toys in the Attic, all mixture of OG presses and modern remasters, all sound insanely good.

I have seen the Furnace Fest exclusives and am sworn to secrecy.

All I can say is I/we best save my/your money for the online drops and if anyone is going and wants to be a sweetheart and grab me some ;)

Good question, and is there a particular social media account we should be following?

Haha I'd just follow Unoriginal Vinyl's FB page. I don't have FB but I can still view their posts but I've got a chat group with two of my best buds who are stupid about vinyl (not as much as me) who keep me posted as soon as stuff is announced.

All American Rejects is selling a 15th anniversary pressing of WTWCD on their current tour for $40. The sticker says it should come with a flexi for Sierra’s Song, but I didn’t have a flexi in the package.

is it the same for you? Prestigious

I've been refreshing their Bandcamp pretty regularly to see if they've added any there (the flexi's listed there), but I think they're just going up after the tour.
