Me too except I watched the movie once. I wish I had that hour and twenty minutes back. I was bored…. to death.

I actually didn’t listen to Love 1&2 fully until a year or so ago. I fell off Angels and Airwaves after iEmpire until their most recent. I was expecting to hate it when I did a full listen through but it wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected from reading these forums. Maybe I was starved for more blink-adjacent stuff but I didn’t hate it

 

The albums should have been edited into one 10 track album. It was much too bloated, repetitive and unmemorable to me. I liked a few tracks but like most of Tom’s non blink stuff there was just no filter or outside voice telling him to tone things down. It’s not a surprise that Tom’s best work is when he has a team behind him helping and he’s not left alone to do everything.

There’s no doubt. Mark told me this awhile back. I was just trying to temper expectations. Haha

Kids these days will never know how much you leveled up when you got a new pair of Airwalks.

 

I remember getting my first pair of airwalks when I got into skate culture/punk and thought they were the sickest thing, and then by the time it was time for a new pair of shoes airwalks had already transitioned into being considered lame/a budget shoe lol so dumb but everyone had gravitated to “cooler” brands like DC, adios, etnies etc

 

I’ve been wearing the same Van Old Skools for like 25 years now hah.

I also went through an Adidas Sambas kick in the late 90’s. Mainly bc I was a soccer player though lol.
