I’m moving to Pittsburgh soon. It’s real and is far superior to filthadelphia.

 

a lot of people think pittsburghs not real because its hidden in the mountains and you need to navigate lanes that become turn only w no warning to get there

 

I’ve never had that experience driving there for 10 years.

 

Driving south on 279 and rounding a corner to suddenly see the city is magical.

idk liberty tunnel and south hills in general i run into that all the time. have made my share of u turns on mcardle

I live in the south hills currently and driving around is the worst. No one ever knows what lane they need to be in.

 

no kidding. the gig i was working a while back would bring me down that way pretty often and running any errands after in the area in the afternoon was BRUTAL

 

I, wisely (by happenstance), lived north and west of the city. It’s possible it happened at rare times, but I can’t think of one.

ive spent a lot of time in both and like both. philly definitely checks more boxes for amenities and job opportunities but i like that pittsburgh is way more chill and scenic imo.

 

As a PA outsider that spends time in both cities, I like Pitt AND Philly (but fuck their sports teams, Pirates aside).
