Wolves look there for the taking a.k.a. playing for a point syndrome. We look like we've got a midfield today, unlike v Villa. I'm glad Danjuma was offside for his shot against the post because my heart can't take disallowed goals when we're so poor at converting chances. My biggest fear was Sa being Wolves player and he has been. Leno was Fulham's best and look what happened next

Martial is world class and not taking control of a loose ball.

“If the defender wasn’t there, he could have had a free header” commentators are mental lads

I see refs have stopped giving yellows for gesturing about yellows. Gibbs White on a booking just did it very obviously and nothing.

Arteta's tactics have been awful so far this season. The only time we have looked good is when we went back to a proper right back. Partey at RB doesn't work and it makes Saka look much worse. Havertz in midfield also doesn't work.

Also we have a serious mentality problem where we shut off when we get into the lead of games and it costs us too many points.

Disappointing but we played brilliantly in the second half. I actually expected us to struggle more this season compared to last due to the turnover and that is playing out.

    Viera looks unbelievable though. Wow.

  14. Everton’s new stadium looks so cool. It’d be sad if they opened it in the Championship.

  15. Why isn’t White playing RB?

Your guess is honestly as good as mine.

My theory is that because we have lost Timber, and Zinchenko isn't ready to start, we are trying to work out how to get a fullback who can invert into midfield. Tomiyasu, Kiwior, White all play like conventional fullbacks so I guess this was his idea.

    It's all hell.

We're playing like when I try and be a tactical smartass on a new save on fm with some weird as fuck asymmetrical system and lose every game so immediately go back to 433 gen gen press.

Yeah, it’s irritating cause when we go back to normal we look world class again.

I think we’re still the second best team in the country. But I think it’s a fairly distant second compared to last year.

    hmmm

Yeah, League One would be much better suited.

Nice to read some Everton fans still creating the same deflection tactic for the board of calling for the manager to be sacked. It's farcical the way modern football discourse has invented this illusion of the manager as the omnipotent chess player on whom every failing of his human chess pieces can be traced back to some incorrect decision he should have foreseen. Dyche isn't Arrigo Sacchi but he's not a mug. A couple of goalscorers in his team and Everton might well be sitting on two wins at this stage.

1 point behind the leaders and level on points with last years treble winners!

  23. Yeah, I don’t think Dyche is the issue. The squad is just very boring. They are operating OFF the field like a club who is on their way down. The poor performances are a result of that imo.

They’re the bottom of the league United.

Dyche definitely isn't our issue. Fully support the man. Another sacking would be suicide with our personnel. So yeah, it's going to happen because that's how we work.
