I’ve listened to him just about every day since I got into him a few months back. Just great stuff.
In the meantime:

 

Very curious to watch him evolve as an artist going forward. He blew up so fast that I think whatever comes next is going to be really interesting.

 

His first album is great but I am begging for a standard length release.

 

This next one is 10 songs. He’s describing it as for him not for the fans, so potentially very interesting for sure.

 

He briefly lived across the st from my bandmates and now his bestie/backup singer does. Been wild chatting to them every now and then about his experience and touring lifestyle. Dude’s on top of the world. Looking forward to this release for sure

Is this album "different" as he has indicated, or does it sound like his other stuff?

 

So far not much of a difference, but I really like it. I think he was hinting at the album after this one being the "different" one.

 

"Ticking" is really excellent.

 

So far I'd say it's a good mix of what people liked about the first two records with some production money behind it. I think all of his releases are great, so this is a solid addition. It's cool to have someone as talented as him be so prolific.
