There is an option NOT to put certain games on it…

 

For value at the moment it’s fine. It’s relatively cheap.

But I imagine they’ll get to a point this generation where games start skipping it and being Series X only. You can’t push off some big third party games for the next 4-5 years because your value console is having issues

 

Anyway, I start back with Xbox again in September lmao


Conveniently will be unemployed from September 1st-September 8th so plenty of time to play that space game

Pre production can take a while especially when the studio is focused on getting other stuff out the door first, in this case dreadwolf. The elder scrolls 6 might not even be out of pre production yet since Starfield hasn’t shipped

 

isn’t it in agreements or whatever that Microsoft wants everything to run on both? which is why BG3 is having issues

The Series S in theory is a good thing but at this point, MS needs to face facts about the remaining lifespan of the unit and plan accordingly.

I went to Wikipedia, scouring the articles of Sabrina The Teenage Witch, fervently wishing this was true.

I have bad news to report. While Tagawa was indeed on an episode, it had nothing to do with Mortal Kombat or Shang Tsung.

Players Log: Hollow Knight (I know I'm the last person to play Hollow Knight but I'ma still use spoilers for some things)

I finished the game today at 105%, got the Radiance ending. My god, where do I even begin talking about this game? I expected Hollow Knight to be a great game, but I didn't expect it to impact me the way it did. Never before have I seen a game be so beautiful, adorable, tragic, calming, and thrilling at the same time. Hollow Knight is a masterclass in tone and I could talk for days about Hollownest and about the story. I fell in love with every character I met on the journey and loved the twists of meeting others and later reading their thoughts. The fight against the Hollow Knight was one of the most fun fights I've done in a long time, and the score transition to the violins as the Hollow Knight began to stab himself had me in awe. This fight alone is one of my favorite fights ever and that's without even mentioning so many of the other wonderful moments that live rent free in my head now.

Of course the gameplay itself has to be talked about. One of the problems I have at times when there's option paralysis is that I don't necessarily feel motivated to do everything, but Hollow Knight does not have that problem at all. I feel motivated to do every bit of content available, explore every path, fight every boss, complete every character arc, anything the game has to offer. I appreciate the amount of options given on how to explore those areas in the first place as well, discovering unique ways to get around not having a certain ability. I've told myself that after I finish the game I'll play other things again but I just don't know how to put this down.

Again, I expected to play a great game, but I didn't expect to feel so many emotions after finishing. I'm going to have to sit with this for a while but it may already be my favorite game of all time. I am ready to lose my shit over any possible Silksong rumor and wait (im)patiently with everyone else.

Honestly I’m much more excited for Dreadwolf than new ME. Especially since I personally love ME3 and I’m fine how it ended.

 

I don't even know what Dreadwolf is, I'm no longer plugged into games
