Trying to find one last shrine! Pretty sure it’s on the surface and I have all the light roots but it’s driving me crazy trying to find it. I’ve looked at maps online and still can’t find the one I missed. Anybody have any tips? Is there one on the way to the final boss?

Just shift between the depths and the surface and make sure you have a shrine for each light root. There are 120 shrines on the surface and 32 in the sky. So you could also count your sky shrines fairly quickly and see if one is missing. If it’s sky, just look at the maps again and check it slowly. If it is the surface do the map shifting I mentioned earlier to find the surface shrine.

There is not one on the way to the final boss, but there is one up on hyrule castle.

Ha thanks! I’ve been doing the shifting to find shrines/light roots but this last one really behooves me. Guess I’ll just keep on looking.

I had the same problem but was missing one lightroot instead. Just zoom in and scan the entire map going back and forth between the depths and Hyrule.

Turns out the final one I was looking for I had activated pretty early on and just never completed

Still chugging along. Almost done with the depths and have 30ish shrines left. Found the last Dragon Tear last night, great cutscene. I've mostly remained spoiler free.

Gerudo Temple is probably what I'll jump into tonight.

Just beat the fire temple yesterday after beating the wind temple a month ago. Always wary getting through the story too quickly. Still enjoying this but I feel like I’m hopping around between regions more than I did in Breath of the Wild rather than fully exploring them one at a time. It’s probably because I know the map already but I do miss some of the exploration.

Do I need to beat the monsters on Eventide Island to unlock the shrine in the cave? Also, no idea how to get to that shrine. Spikes around the entrance won't burn and can't glide to it.

Also stuck on the Cape Cales armor sidequest where I think I have to whistle to open a cave?

    Spoiler-free hints on that one?

    Yes.

Id have to look that one up. Cape Cales doesn’t sound familiar to me.

I know which one you're talking about, but it's hard to give a hint without spoiling it since it's that straightforward. What's the issue, do you just not know where the cave is located?

Okay, if I'm at the top of the Cape Cales cliff, overlooking the sea, best next steps? Jump down? Look at my 12'o clock?

Or am I staying high up? I can figure it out from there.

I love collecting new armor but was so underwhelmed by the Pirate's Cave Misko Treasure quest. Such a letdown when you open the chest and it's something crap you're never going to wear/use.

Anyone else think it's kinda lame that these games doesn't give you Epona as an award for some random quest? I think they should still keep the ability to grab wild horses, but you should be able to "win" Epona with an extra bar of stamina or something

I have 2 Eponas lol. 1 from BOTW, and then another from my amiibo

I’ve seen dozens of Eponas. I just use my one.

Also, having your BOTW horses just pop up in this game was super neat.

Still taking my time exploring/doing side stuff. Just got to the Fire Temple. Don’t want this game to end. Even the fire temple had a bunch of cool side stuff to do around it’s depths.

I think I'm up to 140 hours, and I've been ignoring pretty much all the main quests. Though, I did finish the Sky Temple just to get Tulin. I've got 109 lightroots, and 115 shrines thus far.
