My dude Nathan needs to be made a full member of the band at this point. He brings more energy to the live performances than anyone.

 

I assumed he has been for a while. He was with them when I saw them 4 years ago on the TAYF/WYWTB/LN tour.

 

He has been touring with them since 2011/2012. I asked him after a show in 2019 if he'd get to play on the next album, but he wasn't sure.

 

I’ve always wondered how that works in general. Like is he just like “hey guys I’m right here let me be an official member we’ve been doing this together for 10 years” or like he knows it’ll never happen. OR He doesn’t care cause the gig pays well etc

 

I mean the Green Day dude never played on an album did he? Jason White, is that his name?

 

Fairly certain he started to on the trilogy?

Idk, maybe with all the line-up drama over the years, they just wanna keep their “official” core line-up what it is.

late reply, and this applies more to pre-saving albums than tracks, but pre-saved stuff will jump to the top of your (at least on Apple Music) Recently Added on release day. Probably already knew that but for a long time it didn’t work for me and now it does so if anyone else stopped using it, you can use it now lolz

 

To clarify, Jason has only played on the trilogy. The two records following are only the three of them.
