Ishowspeed is one of the biggest streamers in the world and he was streaming the new FNAF game. He got a jump scare, thrusted at the camera, and said he wanted to fuck the animatronic bird…then his dick came out. His audience is mostly children and YouTube announced he’s getting no punishment. Wtf.

My office is making us all go back to the office twice a week starting in September. Definitely a bit afraid of catching covid.

While us folks in Michigan having the mildest ends to Summer I have experienced in a while. Feel like it has not been nearly as hot this summer as in the past, its been weird (though in a good way) here.

Wow I was checking all yesterday and they were saying there's no real chance of it reaching us as a Tropical Storm. This will be pretty insane if it does.

I can't tell if things are real or parody anymore with that dude.

 

I live in NE Ohio and it was really hot for a stretch and when we had nice days there were air quality alerts because of the wild fires. It’s been better lately but we also have been getting these short really intense storms that cause flooding. It’s been odd but wouldn’t describe it as mild. Have you been getting the storms?

 

I've been shocked how mild it's been here too considering the records being broken across the country. Last year was much worse. We have one of those floor AC units and thought it broke in the middle of a terrible heat wave last year, but it was literally just too hot for it to work, I think it got up to 95 in our apartment.

 

Yeah there have been storms but at least for me, it does not seem like more than normal. Now maybe the intensity is up a bit but nothing super noticeable to me though I think someone else from Michigan mentioned that they felt it was more. I think at least for Michigan folks, some of this perceived intensity increase, is more from the failures of our power companies and the ability to maintain power during storms rather than the increase of storms them or their intensity.

I look forward to looking at the data at the end of the year for severe storm counts and warnings to see if there has been an uptick. I mean even looking at the below, last year we had a low year for warnings.

I don’t think the frequency is changing much but it’s the intensity that has changed. I’m not sure that would be reflected in the data. I know here there is a lot of talk about needed to change runoff and flood control systems here because just in the past 5 years places are flooding every other week that never used to flood 10-15 years ago.
