I need to start deciding between all the conflicts I’m sure that I will have!

Can't wait to see how exhausted I'll be after a week in Chicago for this and then moving into a new house the day after we get back

yea i have so many questions i need answered. biggest thing is how the non-headliner top lines of Sat & Sun shake out. both are so loaded that i could see myself skipping all 5 headliners from those days if it meant i could see 9 or10 out of the 13 bands on those 2 lines. (sadly wont happen cuz they will all be conflicting with each other as well)

I'm crossing my fingers so hard that there won't be a conflict between Gorilla Biscuits and The Cure. If I skip The Cure, my girlfriend will kill me. If I skip Gorilla Biscuits, my friend who is attending his first ever RF will probably kill me lol

Thinking we'll get it next week. I looked at some past years and seems like Aug 25th is a good bench mark in the years where things are running more business as usual (i.e. not excessive lineup delays, no covid, etc.)

My biggest fear is Pup running during Postal Service/DCFC and QotSA.

Saturday is stacked for me. Postal Service is my main reason going. But really want to catch 100 gecs, Mr Bungle, Death Grips and Sleep Token.

Im grateful Im seeing The Cure at their LatinAmerican tour, cause the possibility of them vs Gaslight Anthem vs AFI sounds awful

I have 6 shows in 7 days the week of RF. You won't be the obly one exhausted.

curious to see if they clear out the schedule for The Cure and have them mostly unopposed for 2 1/2 - 3 hours or iif they keep the other stages rolling all night

thats cool, i dont rememeber them doing this in the past - though i might have missed it. this might also mean this is the first year in a while where we dont get gwar or tbs.

both possible, Gwar released new dates with Riot weekend open (Gwar has never skipped Riot Chicago since it's been outdoors for whatever that is worth) - I think we get one more higher/middle tier band and it might be TBS - I could totally be wrong though

I wouldn't be surprised if GWAR and TBS just show up in the daily schedules with no actual announcement, but we'll see.

Is there a chance LS Dunes becomes the new TBS? In the sense they play every year

They are repeating from last year and Anthony Green mentioned in an interview last year they would like to play every year, so there is some interest from them

  21. If it also means a higher chance of Thursday playing every year, that’d be great.

great catch, wonder what happened, and also why riot refuses to announce lower card drop offs lol

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

They probably think people won’t notice or be invested since they’re smaller acts. But I think it’s weird. You think they would’ve announced Smoking Popes were added to the lineup, though?

I still think it’s strange there wasn’t really an explanation form either party why Caroline Rose dropped
