Well, production handled that just about as badly as they could’ve. Weird episode. And you’d think after casting Matt, they would’ve at least done the bare minimum to give him some visual cues for the live vote.

 

I haven't watched feeds does it seem like they are doing anything to accommodate for Matt?

 

Honestly no. It’s very rough for him in there and sad, production should do better. Some of the other houseguests are doing their best to make eye contact and help him out in group settings but you can tell he gets exhausted.

 

I had seen something online alluding to that. Disappointing that production isn't doing better. They cast him and had time to discuss how to best accommodate.

 

My sister's deaf, and I can confirm that the deaf community is disappointed with the lack of accessibility for him. My sister specifically has called out that any sort of challenge that requires listening to clues, is going to be really really hard

 

I would think the eviction vote would be the absolute easiest place to accommodate. Its really crazy they managed to botch that and shows how little consideration theyve given to making things better for him.

This HoH challenge is actually pretty neat though lol. Idk I’m kind of into the multi-verse theme, gives them a good excuse to pull whatever kind of crazy twist they want.

 

The HOH comp is cool for sure but they are pushing these folks to say Netherregion at every chance and it's driving me crazy.

 

The only plus to the strikes is that they can use the whole CBS lot to make whatever they want for the comps.

Give the writers and actors what they want though.

 

Cool hoh challenge aside from the cheesiness, also I like the way the twist works going down there, aside from the cheesiness. I'll bet the next person gets to, or has to, skip veto picks

 

Yeah the comp was cool but still the usual BB silliness. I know the netherregion is copying the upside down but they were pushing Stranger Things so hard on this one with the bell toll, nethergorgon, and DR house backdrop pic

Apparently the rules were written on cards for Matt to read so that's an improvement

 

I was going to say that I could barely make out what the 'nethergorgon' was saying so I had no idea how he would get through this one. Glad to see there's at least some consideration being taken, but overall I'm guessing they're still falling way short of where they should be unfortunately.

 

I do wonder how much uproar is others speaking for him, I wish we could get his take on it. It's very possible he went into the game requesting to be treated the same as everyone else.
