Portland is a 1500 cap. I would have assumed this would be going to 500-800 cap venues based on the fact that the last Page Avenue tour didn’t do super well but I guess with the emo nostalgia it’s the right time to cash in and make the tour as big as possible.

 

is city winery a new chain that sprung up overnight? there is one here in stl but i havent been to it yet, but from what i can gather its fairly small (225 cap) and has held acts like o-town and puddles pity party.,. figured patton would be doing theaters or something

 

I believe its a small-ish chain around the east coast. Boston one has been around since like 2017 I think, never been but photos make it look tiny.

 

I think he's purposely doing smaller rooms to test material, but yeah, he typically does Fillmore-sized rooms.

I'm going to need the Roxian Theater to stop getting all the good shows in Pittsburgh.

 

Damn $125 for two Balcony tickets to SOTY. That’s steep, but seeing PA in full with great support is worth it. FYS and Youth Fountain definitely make this tour a can’t miss for me. Youth Fountain dropping the Bearings/Just Friends tour for this was a smart decision lol

 

2,200 cap venue in NYC. I haven't really kept up with them since like 2005, but I feel like that's a tad big for them?
Show's five months away, so I'm gonna revisit in the winter and see how secondhand prices are.

 

Is it the entire Page Avenue or just the hits?

 

the ten year tour was the entire thing, just in a different order and they mixed other songs in.

 

I don't see a scenario where that band doesn't play "Until the Day I Die" as the long song in their set.

 

I honestly prefer the entire album to be mixed in the set instead of front to back. I definitely see them doing that as they don’t have any other hits that would keep the nostalgia fans that only know the singles around for the whole show. If these shows do well it will be half full of people just wanting to hear Anthem of Dying Day and Until the day I die lol

 

Interpol announced two shows at Beacon (12/13 and 12/14). Surprised they're allowed to given their show with the Smashing Pumpkins at Jones Beach is DEFINITELY not sold out.

 

They’ve announced a show in Anaheim too

 

Amazed that SOTY is doing this again as they essentially did the same thing in 2013

The genre is a really different place now.
