Awesome! I was behind the crowd right where it's elevated a bit, I had a nice view. I love the venue. It was a great show. Couldn't hear the vocals that well but it didn't matter. The performance made me appreciate the new album even more. Now I have memories tied to it. Of course, it's awesome seeing the whole audience go nuts to all the old stuff. Fantastic show, I want to go back.

Someone shouted "where's Eddie?!" After you can't look back and Adam said he was sick lol. Adam was top notch on crowd interactions

I heard the vocals pretty good in the front row, but I feel because of the small club setting their Mics weren't turned up all the way. Literally couldn't even hear you blew it when they sang but TBS has better equipment

Wait, you were at the show the night before mine, nevermind haha. I was at the New Orleans show.

He did banter with us quite a bit too. Dude knows how to work a crowd lol. After they played I Felt It Too, he joked that we were looking at him cross-eyed during that song b/c it's slow, so we'd better dance to Call Come Running lol.

I was at the NOLA show too. The mics seemed to be low during the first 2 or 3 songs but I could hear much better by the time they played Fences. I was on the floor on the front row. I think I'll get balcony seats next time.

Yeah he went on a long joking talk about how he loves playing Nashville and how there was a dude in the crowd that looked like Bruno mars. Then he's just like "well ok good talk!" And starts playing call come running lol

Surprisingly, I've still been spinning this a couple times a week. It's on par with Happiness Is.

Tidal Wave has actually given me a totally new appreciation for Happiness Is. I sort of stopped listening to HI in early 2015 after spinning it for most of 2014. I've re-discovered really good tracks.

Chuckled when he acknowledged the crowd wanting to hear the old stuff and started playing cute without the e before stopping and saying something like "that comes later". And then they continued playing Tidal Wave (I think we don't go in there was next). Trolled. He probably does that at a lot of shows.

Haha same. I just recently went back to it myself after taking a long break from it. And sure enough, I fell in love with all over again.

Still think "Nothing At All" is a very underwhelming track, especially when you realize it's the closer.

I remember cackling when he did that! I'm glad they joke about it but it must be frustrating to some degree. A lot of people really sleep on their newer stuff. A girl near me was texting her friend that she didn't come to hear the new album. And in my mind I was like...then why are you here???

Ha! Yeah, I think it's still a cool track but it really is weak for a closer especially out of all their other closers, which are incredible, imo. The bonus tracks they released (How I Met Your Mother, Can You Feel That, This Is Happening) sort of made up for it, especially This Is Happening.

For sure. All of the bonus tracks are great. The three you listed may actually be the three best songs from the Happiness Is sessions.

Yeah, I've noticed that they have a lot of bonus or non-album tracks that should have made the final album cut. That makes me wonder what the songs they probably scrapped from Tidal Wave sound like.

I'm on team-bonus tracks for Happiness aren't that good and deserve to be bonus tracks :-)

I love "How I Met Your Mother", and I think the other two are decent tracks, but I wouldn't replace any track on Happiness Is with one of the B-sides.

Haha, ok. I'll give you "This Is Happening" at least, that one stands a fighting chance!

I really enjoy "Like You Do" but some of the lyrics are a bit cringe-worthy, let's be real. I would replace that song with any of the bonus tracks.

Yeah "Like You Do" is the only one I'd think about trading out.

If I were to put one of the bonus tracks in, it would probably be where "Like You Do" is, but I think that one is a nice uplifting change of pace after "They Don't Have Any Friends" and "Better Homes And Gardens". I just don't think any of the bonus tracks would quite fit in there.

Good guy, but a bad dude

How I Met Your Mother should have been on the record, just not sure where. Honestly the whole album and its B-sides is pretty fantastic. I wonder if we are getting any from Tidal Wave

I think with some re-arranging, it could work. I do like how they sequenced HI though, so you're probably right.

Yeah, I expect they will if the past is any indicator. I'm really excited to hear them too.

That and "Nothing At All" for me. I really enjoy both songs a lot but they are the album's only weak points.

I love Nothing at All :tear: I initially found it to be an underwhelming closer when HI came out, but I'm totally under that song's spell now. I think the final tracks on each of the last four albums have been really good.

I really hope we get a good, long deluxe edition of Tidal Wave like we did for Happiness Is. Getting 3 b-sides and 3 acoustic tracks was awesome. Hopeless definitely could use some more sales off of a deluxe edition too.
