I’m moving a thousand miles and I feel like I’ll need more in my car than just my vinyl. Haha I don’t know what to do.

 

Oh dang, okay not sure what advice I can give you on that, my move was 4.1 km lol. I wish you all the best though!!

 

Just label them fragile all over the boxes. If you have good movers it will be fine. Those boxes will be so heavy it’s not like they can just throw em in the truck. I’ve paid movers to move my vinyl twice (among other things) and it was fine both times. Bubble def helps as well.

I’m going to take at least one box in my car if the more expensive and rare vinyl. But I still want all the others to be okay. I moved down here and had movers take my vinyl, but I had like maybe 20 then and I packed them with clothes.

This is stressful haha

Yeah! One of my top albums of 2018 right there. I saw them in Toronto in the winter of 2019. I remember they cancelled two of their shows prior to Toronto because Katie and Cristal were really sick. They definitely put on a show! I just saw they're playing again in the fall.

My Gaslight Anthem collection was lacking (only own The '59 Sound and Get Hurt) glad I finally copped this on sale for $14.20 usd on Bandbox during their "green'" vinyl sale.

I'm starting to dig their company and their fanzines.

 

A few weeks ago one of my best buds showed me a recent haul his local record store picked up. There was one album in there that may be a grail to some. After a few weeks of back and forth with the owner, he came back with $100. With a little more back and forth and offering him some trades the owner was like "$50 to make your friend happy and no trades".

So on top of that I found a copy of As Cities Burn "Son I Lived You At Your Darkest" at a shop for $30 that my buddy requested. So I told him to knock that off the price.

So I scored a grail for $27 CDN cleaned and tested!! My buddy is bringing it over on Saturday at my son's 3rd birthday party. I'm pretty stoked!

I have it, my best friend sold it to me for like $5 bucks or gave it to me for free haha back in the day.

But that's a pretty sweet colour. That gets me excited for a Crimes repress!!
