Starting to regret not also having Alvarez like I almost did this morning.

 

Each gameweek you choose a captain and a vice captain. The Captain gets double points. In the event your captain doesn’t play, it goes to your VC.

Generally, I just set C as Haaland, and switch my VC to whoever has favourable fixtures out of someone like Saka or Rashford.

And when it comes to captaining, don't be too cute. I thought I could make up some ground and didn't captain Haaland for a hat trick.

 

Feel for Burnley ever so slightly as they managed to press City into a couple of errors in that half. That said, City/Haaland were just far too good at getting their shit together. Koleosho looks the most likely to get Burnley back into it but it'd take a monumental effort.

 

It's something you activate once a season and you get triple points from your captain instead of double.

I have never managed to use it well. It's a guaranteed three-pointer in my experience.

 

Even up 2-0, I can see us struggling out of the gates again this season and probably worse than last year. Adding on to the normal Pep early season tinkers, you have KDB injury, at least two new players on top of Kovačić, and my guess is first year players playing a ton more minutes than previous seasons.

 

It's weird I have seen us linked to him and Mitomo, same position but just totally different players as to where they are in their ages and careers.

 

Burnley needs some life off the bench.

 

I parlayed City -2/Haaland first goal scorer/Over 2.5 goals scored, so I could really use that third goal lol

 

Rodri should get like 1% of that

Welp, got my first hole to dig out of in FPL as I bet on Kane staying with Spurs

 

I say this lightly but with Kane leaving, the gap between top goal scorer and second place is going to be wild.

 

Kane rushing to get everything done so he can play in this game and then Bayern losing is the funniest outcome.
