yeah I just think from a club logic standpoint you make that decision and do all the big PR image rehab stuff at the beginning of summer and he has a preseason under his belt and there’s time for the backlash to happen and die down a bit by the time the season starts

either way it’s all ugly business and even playing the devil’s advocate of how the club should handle a return to first team duties from a logistics standpoint feels dirty and gross to consider

The game on Sunday is going to be huge for Spurs. A nice win will do wonders for the morale with the fans. And it'll be some nice momentum heading into a week that will feature a lot of rumors about players we're interested in. A win + a couple nice signings heading into the home opener against United is a must.

 

Balogun is expected to be sold. Nketiah will be kept but I see Trossard & Havertz being used ahead of him in big games. Trossard would be my pick to start up top, I think.

Tbf it’s not always fun, I did some stuff with the Lionesses a while back and had a really unpleasant interaction with one of them. Generally, anyone I do get to meet is pretty cool though. Chris Kamara was the nicest, he’s an absolute legend.

I was in favor of selling Perisic as the season ended but seeing him in the LW role, he looks much better. Between him, Son, Kulu, and Solomon, I think we’re ok at the wing positions for this season.
