That said. The way I justify sports to myself is it’s unscripted.

I certainly prefer the element of surprise to a scripted show that is bad. If something has a script yeah I do kinda have a higher bar for it cause it’s all made up, it’s the entire job of TV professionals to make something not-stupid to watch and make it relatable, believable, or at least fun and interesting in some way.
