Yeah if you’re attempting to have sex with a literal BABY you absolutely deserve to die.

 

I refuse to believe that had someone done this to your children you wouldn’t want them beaten within an inch of their life

 

I don't really give a fuck if wanting Ian Watkins to die a terrible death means I have a poor moral compass or a misunderstanding of his mental behavior.

Just like I refuse to believe hollowmines is arguing about this for any reason other than boredom on a Sunday afternoon.

This is such a weird thing to try to have the moral high ground on. You could have woken up today and picked anything else.

For what he did, what he said, and showing no remorse, he deserved what he got. Maybe some people can get rehabilitated but I'm sorry, some people don't deserve the chance.

Again, he tried to or did fuck kids amongst other horrible child sex crimes. It's more concerning that you're not more outraged at the whole thing. You're showing empathy for the abuser but not the abused by being dead-set on him not deserving this attack and that's super weird to me.

 

If thinking someone who tried to or did fuck a literal baby among a litany of other sex crimes makes me a bad person then I guess I'm a bad person, but at least I'm not both-sidesing heinous paedophilia

 

idk I would rather spend my time supporting genuinely good musicians on this website and not questioning whether a literal pedophile deserved what he got (side note: he absolutely deserved it)

 

Also! Don’t forget they’re are a ton of POCs in prison right now, who got more time, even life for just selling weed, and this guy only got 35 years! Trust me, I am completely against our penal system, and am 100% for abolishing our kind of “law enforcement” and court system. In a perfect world anybody that has or attempts to have sex with an infant!! I think citizens should have been stoning him to death.

 

I always just come in with my fun lil reminder that it's important to believe girls and women because he had rumors circling him for a while that he was hooking up with underage fans. Not to mention his ex coming forward about him being a predator. And if anyone had actually looked into those things it could've saved years of heartache and exploitation.

 

I’m a pretty big pacifist but I’m definitely not shedding a tear for or opposed to a baby rapist getting shanked in prison — nor do I feel that’s a negative for me and my moral compass.

 

If hoping for the worst for baby rapists makes me a bad person then call me Satan

Why is this the hill you insist you want to die on. Like, even if what you say about rehabilitation is true you just sound stupid when you say the rest of the posters in here are too focused on the "severity" like yes exactly THAT IS THE POINT. HE FUCKED A BABY AND JOKED ABOUT IT.

 

Pretty sure there's not people in jail for life for selling weed in the UK.

There are many things I believe you can be rehabilitated for, or get a second chance. What he did was not one of them.
