I need to drop one of the main shows for NXT. I’ve been meaning to but I can barely make time for Collision as it is lol.

 

Just started NXT. That opening parking lot beat down gave me motion sickness from that abhorrent camera work. And I thought Jacy Jayne was Britt Baker

 

Really hate that they are just jobbing out Corbin in NXT when they could have rehabbed him

 

Watched the Bash at the Beach 2000 DSOTR.

I was left very very confused. You get the conflicting POV of two bullshitters. The part of the booking plan for that night that they both agree on was confusing to begin with. Both Russo and Bischoff's differing plans of what to do with the belt after that were both dogshit. The only person that came off sympathetic here was Jeff Jarrett honestly.

Lance Storm summarized it best "We were in the back thinking is this the plan? if this is the plan then this is stupid, and this is not the plan then this even stupider"

 

I want to watch NXT more but booker t on commentary and the typical wwe camera
work makes me turn the show off not long after I turn it on.

 

If Bischoff/Hogan were never told of Russo's plan for Jarrett/Booker fighting for the title later on in the show.....then what did they think the Hogan/Jarrett "match" was in the middle of the card for?

 

Usually the camera work isn’t too bad but it was just this one parking lot attack, the camera crew couldn’t keep up that was bad. But agreed on Booker. I usually don’t dislike him as much as others but he really doesn’t fit the NXT vibe

 

King Bryan Alvarez’s ‘Death of WCW’ is a great book to read that covers the insane booking years, great audiobook to listen to.

 

Booker is genuinely worse than Mike Adamle haha. for main roster it was okay enough because he was clued in to the product by way of a bunch of his contemporaries still being a part of it. it is clear he'd sooner be caught dead than watching NXT without a paycheck, he is just to keep nice for the ROW pipeline

 

It’s funny how I remember Booker/JBL/Graves being loved at first when they joined commentary but it didn’t take long for that to fall off a cliff. Deservedly so.

 

Booker was literally never good. Shucky Ducky Quack Quack has always been cringe. JBL's first run was great around 2006-2007. When he came back after he retired he lost it somehow. Graves is still good IMO.

 

Wait Booker/JBL/Graves is the NXT commentary team? Holy moly that sounds insufferable

no it's Booker and Vic Joseph, they were just saying those 3 all wore out their welcome quickly in their respective stints

 

Graves is annoying but he also has the impossible task of making Kevin Patrick interesting

 

Yeah he basically has to carry RAW now, surprised Patrick has lasted as long as has. Jimmy Smith was a lot better and that's saying a lot.

Makes sense. Also sounds like they did talk to WWE again but that schedule is a complete non-starter for all of them and it’s hard to blame them.

 

Gotta be Trump related.

 

This needs to be it's own promotion. This is all I want in wrestling.
