Captains log, day 291,

We continue edging since the last blink-182 single dropped, waiting for something, anything to signify a new song is coming. The fan base is ravenous. Some have become pessimistic, some are overly optimistic. Some pass their time ranking albums for the 1000th time this month, while others argue over trivial things like concert T-shirt etiquette and if Green Day’s FOAM was good or not. Supplies are running low, and there has been no communication from the blink headquarters about any relief or rescue. I fear it’s only a matter of time before the fans start turning on themselves more than they already have. With the confirmation of alien life, one has to wonder if we’ll get an album from an alien rock band before we get this one.

 

In the meantime, listen to the new Maine album. It's awesome stuff

If you would have told me in 2010 that the Maine would be one of the most consistent bands in the alternative/emo scene, I would have highly doubted that. They've been blowing me away with each release.

 

Thanks for posting this. I impulse bought it before it sold out and am very curious to see what's inside.

 

This is another new-ish album that I think a lot of you guys will really like. Especially @BTDandFeelingThisandIMissYouandAppleShampooandDownDownDownDownDownDownDown

 

That album rules! Listened to that album recently and really loved it!

 

Seriously. Those first few albums had some good songs but as whole they weren't anything too memorable IMO. But then Lovely Little Lonely came out and blew my fucking mind and they've just been on an insane streak ever since.
(American Candy is great too, but LLL was the real turning point).

 

Totally agree. American Candy and LLL really made me a humongous fan.

 

Does the zine have written stuff from Mark, or is it mostly pictures?

+1 on the American Candy + LLL 1, 2 punch. Top to bottom both of those albums are fantastic. They are easily one of my favorite bands now

I hope. They have been a little quieter on social media this week than they have been, so maybe things are in the works. Or maybe I'm just wishful thinking.
