I think Low Teens is the only one I've ever listened to and it's good

Music can just be fun it doesn't necessarily have to be "good" or whatever metric you want to use to assess skill. Panic fits the bill as fun and high hopes is a banger.

 

And they write some absolutely sick shit. I think Low Teens and Hot Damn are their best. Everything else I just always find myself returning to the songs that really grabbed me

 

These days I try to not say overrated and underrated as much (but I fail at it) cuz idk what either means anymore, does it matter idk

 

ETID is fine was never super big into them but their cult following was weird. The one dude I went to high school with made ETID his entire personality.

 

I back this so hard.

 

I guess that's what overrated means probably, we just see people make it their personality, idk

 

And I do like ETID. I just never fully got into them like a lot of posters in this community did

 

I use to shit on people’s music taste a lot, but now that I’m older I’ve become very open minded especially with bands I use to dislike for no reason whatsoever

 

Same and I'm also like why am I proud to dislike things, like I'm happy that I get to feel less joy when hearing something than someone else does?

Not sure if it was Dustin or someone else who said they use "that's not for me" instead of saying you don't like something and I try to use that more

 

I also like the music most people would scoff at or act above so I just don't care I'll go at everyone for fun even if I don't actually mean it

 

So true ! I just let people enjoy what they want, it’s funny because I really, really use to hate The Rolling Stones, but like now they honestly became one of my all time favorite bands over the last few years.
