I do travel a bit for shows and New Orleans is not that far

The crazy part is I didn’t even realize she went to Houston already

So if this is true, and the trend continues where she plays NFL stadiums, and she’s hitting cities that she has yet to play, that leaves the following:

    -Green Bay
    -Landover, MD (Commanders)
    -Indianapolis
    -Jacksonville
    -Charlotte
    -New Orleans
    -Orchard Park, NY (Bills)
    -Miami
    -Cleveland
    -Owing Mills, MD (Ravens)

Canada will be mixed in, and some of those stadiums probably won’t get hit. But, that gives us a list for speculation. And I’d be surprised if certain markets got left out entirely on a 2nd leg.

Hell, maybe she does festivals and upsets the boomers with a Super Bowl performance. idk

Ed was the most boring concert I’ve ever been to in my life. And absolutely terrible structure blocking so many peoples views.

How was Khalid? MetLife got 2 shows, 1 of them ended up being cheap & I debated going just for him

We were seated for the first couple songs, then the kiddo wanted some food so we missed most of it.

Haven't seen this announced on the band's socials yet.

Edit: also this is one of the worst venues in Pittsburgh. So annoyed that shows that I want to go to keep getting announced here

Yeah I'm shocked Heart Attack Man is billed above SLS.

Echo everyone’s sentiments. Wish SLS was billed above Heart Attack Man so I could show up late. HAM is the worst of the newer crop of pop punk bands and could care less about seeing them.

My only thought was since HAM was from Cleveland/NE Ohio, they draw well in Pittsburgh?

Blown away that Ed Sheeran is this big. He strikes me as just a radio hits guy that people like in passing and not as a guy who would have insane die hard fans.

Also, out of curiosity, I checked out a few of his set lists from this tour and he’s doing most of the show solo acoustic? Which is insane to be doing at football stadiums.

It’s not that surprising, Heart Attack Man has more monthly listeners and also just finished a full US headlining tour (and I believe did one last year too) whereas Spanish Love Songs haven’t done a full solo tour in years as far as I am aware. Plus when Spanish Love Songs last headlined in Chicago they couldn’t sell out a 375 capacity venue but both times Heart Attack Man played here they played two different bigger venues than that so I’m assuming they draw better.

More than that, Heart Attack Man has a pretty strong social media presence and they do a lot to hype people up about their music, shows, etc.

In contrast, Spanish Love Songs are kinda just like "Oh hey, we're here. Like us, please?" Which could work well if they were touring more regularly but they really aren't... And to your point, I think they've lost a lot of momentum as a result.

New album could really re-ignite things for them, especially if they can get some crossover from the new direction they seem to be taking.

Yeah maybe I'm overthinking the hype around the new album.

Since shows came back Spanish Love Songs have only played two shows in Chicago, one on Labor Day weekend 2021 (and that was only like 3 Midwest dates) and the other opening for The Wonder Years last year . Not the most ideal opportunities for everyone to see them. (Speaking for myself, I would like to see them live at least once). Meanwhile Heart Attack Man has played here like 5 times since shows came back and have given people plenty of opportunities to see them.

Ed Sheeran's popularity is only eclipsed by maybe 5-10 artists worldwide, but one thing overlooked on his current tour is that a vast majority of the tickets were super affordable, especially compared to Tay and Bey. So, between that, his stage set up allowing for all seats and most of the floor to be used, it makes sense that he's setting venue records. It's a lot easier to go see a "singles artist" for $50 in the upper deck when said singles are still in constant radio rotation for a decade.

My whole thing is... I don't see much hype around the new album? People who are already fans/diehards seem excited but that's about it. Could definitely change when the album drops, though, with the right amount of label push and online chatter.
