You’re right. Thanks, Greg. I’ll probably suck it up and go and hope to take my mind off things for a while

Obviously, do what’s best for you. Only you know what you’re feeling and to what extent.

But I’ve been super lucky to see a bunch of shows this summer. And for me, there’s almost no better feeling than being surrounded by hundreds or thousands of people all screaming along to every song, knowing that the vast majority have felt the feelings the song speaks to. It helps me not feel so alone in my darkness. It’s something I’ve always loved about music. When you connect deeply with a song, in that moment, you know how you feel is normal. You’re not alone in those thoughts and feelings.

If you go, I hope you are able to escape and have a great time. And hey, you’re going to get an FOB song they may never play again.

As some prophet once said, “music mends broken hearts.” I like to think it was meant for any type of broken heart.

Thanks a lot, man. I’m very sorry for your loss.

I’ve had a handful of pets throughout my life, but I never had a bond with any of them like I did with this one. He slept with my every night, was glued to me through all my health issues and heart surgery recovery, and he was always waiting at the door for me when I came home. He was so special.

Give your boy some extra hugs from me

What was the reaction to Thriller as the album opener for IOH? Both the Jay-Z feature and the intro breakdown, and any other commentary you all have/remember

I always thought it was awesome and still think it’s one of their best songs.

Thriller was the moment I knew FOB was going to be one of my favorite bands of all time lol

IOH released right at the time when I started diverging from the pop punk that came out at the time and was opening up to heavier music (PTH, TFOT, rise records), and for Thriller to go as hard as it did, showed that the band will be one that grows with my listening habits. Even since then I can find so much of my personal musical journey to mirror the sounds FOB we’re incorporating at the time

While I am happy the band is playing some FAD deep cuts to very positive reactions, I am simultaneously very happy my magic 8 ball was not a FAD song. Though Winona would have been neat.

Pete has stated that once a song has been played for Magic 8-Ball it becomes fair game to switch into the normal set on a whim.

In the normal portion of the set, there's an Infinity on High Rotation between these songs (or multiple if they have extra time)
    1. Hum Hallelujah
    2. "The Take Over, the Break's Over"
    3. Bang the Doldrums (Multiple Nights After Being Magic 8-Balled)

In the normal portion of the set, there's an occasional Take This To Your Grave Rotation between these songs.
1.Chicago is So Two Years Ago
    2. Homesick at Space Camp (1 Night Only After Being Magic 8-Balled)
    3. Dead on Arrival (1 Night Only After Being Magic 8-Balled)

In the normal portion of the set there's an occasional Folie a Deux Rotation between these songs.
    1. Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown on a Bad Bet
    2. 27 (1 Night Only After Being Magic 8-Balled)

Night 2 of LA and Canada each got an extra song outside of the Magic-8 Ball.

Well I 100% won't be going on Wednesday. My temp job ended after only a month of me being there. Budget cuts my ass, they just didn't want to have to pay someone else while the other person was out on maternity.

Food and bills are unfortunately more important right now. I'm so fucking sad.
