  7. Smart House - 5.5/10

Didn't grow up with this one so it doesn't hit the same, still fun and bad in mostly the right ways

Directed by the legendary LeVar Burton. I'm sure it financed helping a bunch of kids learn to read.

Holy shit, Gremlins 2: The New Batch is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Instant favorite.

Dante's whole life's goal was to make a live action Looney Tunes, and this is as close as you can possibly get. Even more than his ACTUAL Looney Tunes movie.

  14. Major League - 7/10

    48 Hrs. - 7/10

Both kinda racist with some redeeming qualities! Major League is very nostalgic for me, and I can't believe 48 Hrs is Murphy's first film role. He's electric.

  15. Theater Camp was really fun! I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. I had no idea it was gonna be a mockumentary, the on-screen narration was used so effectively

Armageddon - 7.5/10 so so dumb but I'm a sap and the ending gets me and how cranked this thing is a joy.

  20. The Super Mario Bros Movie - 6.5/10
    A fun, easy watch.

The Dorm That Dripped Blood - 6.5/10

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 - 5/10
As an MCU hater but a James Gunn and Guardians respecter, it brings me no pleasure to report that the last 45 minutes or so kinda killed this one for me.

    Wicked World - 8/10
Slow, but truly batshit with some narrative and editing choices so incompetent, they border on brilliant

I was also kind of disappointed with GOTG3. But I also wasn’t over the moon with 2 on first watch and then it became my favorite after a rewatch, so we’ll see. Maybe I’ll change my mind.

  25. I loved 2, might actually be one of my favorite Marvel flicks! But I was also less cynical about the studio at that point
