I played it for a little while on tablet. It was decent enough. I mostly didn't stick with it because I don't like gaming on tablets haha

Final Fantasy XIV: Now that I've finished 16 I've been playing FFXIV again finally, and a big part of that is changing my main job to Sage. Healing has made the game feel fresh to me again after a very long break. WoW career healers would probably hate healing in FFXIV with how DPS-centric it can feel, but the freedom of having every job on 1 character and not having to start over the main scenario (or pay) any time you want to do a different job probably helps in that career healers could at least discover if there's something they liked more. But even still, healing feels incredibly fresh compared to tanking in FFXIV right now. Taking the break was much needed and I'm glad I did, especially since this has caused me to have so much side stuff I can catch up on.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages: I haven't played this game in so long and I already love it as much as I did the first time. Seasons and Ages gave me some of my best memories as a kid and they're so comfortable to revisit. It's a nice reminder how much I missed top-down Zelda and a nice reminder to visit some of the games Penlab mentioned that are similar to a top-down Zelda game. I've only finished the first area thus far so a lot still yet to come.

Returnal: I continue the hunt for act 3 and it is extremely tedious, but what I don't mind about that is I feel like I actually might be good at Returnal now. Having to fight everything so many times in this grind has made me feel less lucky and more good and I'm thankful for that. It's made runs feel more fun than they already were and also allowed me to feel more flexible with my experimentation.

Pokemon Scarlet: My kids have had me playing Pokemon Scarlet with them again from time to time and good god is it a bad game that just feels worse the more I play it. I hate that I'm being such a hater but it feels impossible not to. Raids feel so sluggish to play and are somehow equally as unengaging as they were last generation when you had to wait for everyone to input their turns. My kids experience frequent crashes. I wish I could say that this is my last Pokemon game but I'm certain my kids will get me to get another one next generation and I'm sure my feelings won't drastically change.

How anyone has time to juggle multiple games on top of their daily responsibilities is a mystery to me. I have zero responsibilities except my job and I still barely have time for one game.

 

Workin from home in a leadership role while sitting next to my gaming PC definitely helps

 

How I do that while also keeping up with kpop I do not know though

as a WoW career healer (mostly disc priest) I was extremely excited for sage to come out and it definitely became my main job in Endwalker. so much fun, definitely borrows a lot of ideas from disc priest.

 

It's really fun, and is easy yet has a lot of depth to it. I'm not really familiar with WoW healing as a whole other than that it's more heal intensive than FFXIV healing is so that's good to know that it naturally aligns with something existing in WoW. FFXIV and WoW borrow from each other a lot these days and it's cool to see
