if i'm not mistaken, didn't ben from armor write dream to make believe by himself and then found a band?

  4. It was Ben and Anthony originally. On the demos, Ben played guitar and drums and then they got PJ and Nash to join for recording the full album. Both of them were in Prevent Falls together.

Half of DTMB is top tier, half i could leave. I was excited for the vinyl but revisited the record to see if it was worth spending surprise money on and while it would have been nice, I’m more glad I have WTD

all that said, this tour is an insta-buy

I knew tours for the fall would start dropping soon. I’m moving soon and I don’t know when exactly so I won’t be able to buy tickets for awhile. Hopefully I can make a show somewhere.

I honestly cannot recall a single song on DTMB. I remember having it when it first came out and never really going back to it because I definitely didn't connect to it. When WTWYAD was released, I was shocked at how much I loved it instantly and it stayed in rotation for years and years. I haven't listened to it in probably a decade, but I can still recall most of the songs.

Maybe I'll give DTMB a shot again this week.

RIP to no TX dates. Teenage me is screaming. One of my most cherished concert memories is their tour in 2007 before the hiatus.

Strange how a tour this big is skipping over NYC. Instead it's hitting surrounding b-markets.
Kinda anticipating a date getting added for demand. But if not, think I'll head down to Charleston to visit a buddy and hit this up!

  11. Do yourself a favor at least listen to these two tracks ASAP:

You should listen to the full album. I love WTDWYAD more, but it’s pretty good.

  13. They were in the same realm as AFS, I'd say

I’m in the WTDWYD > DTMB camp. The album never gets old.

I mentioned being surprised that TEN isnt headlining, but then finding it kinda interesting that on Spotify (obviously not the only metric), Armor does have more listeners and more track plays... very interesting to me!

Relistening to TRTC on Spotify and was confused when Course of Human Life omitted the little string outro.

Follow-up: reminds me of my brain being so wired to hear certain parts engrained from constant CD spins. Sorta like when I get so used to the little scratched sections I'm accustomed to hearing in my car, then hearing a clear version 10 years later on streaming.

I definitely know that feeling from shitty mp3s too, every now and again I will hear a song in full quality and mentally know where my mp3 glitched or CD scratched, etc. Pretty funny

Will there be a couple fill-ins I assume? Or will it be like japandroids or something?
