I’d still love to know what actually happened at United. I don’t think he was ever good enough to be our #1 winger, but plenty good enough to be a squad player/#2 winger. But Moyes seemingly hated him enough that he had to move on even after Moyes got sacked. I wonder how his career would have gone if a) he never signed for us b) wasn’t sold after a year.
