Bands you loved that faded away • Page 91

Discussion in 'Music Forum' started by bradsonemanband, Apr 11, 2016.

  1. Beat Union were so good too. Their drummer went on to join Lostprophets (uh) then No Devotion and he's now part of LOWLIVES.

I was a big Madina Lake fan back then too. They've reunited and put out an EP couple years back, but I haven't heard from them since. A shame since I remember them saying they wanted to wrap up the story they had written during their initial run.
Honestly I'm unfamiliar with most of them so I'd be curious to hear all those bands I missed.

this might sound weird but in the earlyish days of instagram (like 2012, 2013) when people would just follow each other all the time because they hashtagged #poppunk on a post, this one girl and I followed each other and she posted about Patent Pending all the time, she was seemingly at every show of theirs around New York.

and I have never listened to Patent Pending

There is a very distinct reason why I didn't put City Lights on here haha

  21. Can't find their thread but I like the new Letter Kills song. It really sounds like the mid 00s in the best way, reminding me of other ap.net approved bands in the same realm (Lorene Drive, Meriwether, Forever Changed). Have actually never heard their older stuff so I'll have to give it a listen afterwards.

    this is all there is

I remember really enjoying this album back in the day, some Thrice Alchemy/Beggars vibes but with much more overt christian themes.
