Slow motion football throws are back baby!!

 

The Jets preseason hype is even more out of control than I thought it would be

 

It's maybe too early to say it, but it's not an outlandish question lol. Adams is clearly #1 but after that you have Driver, Nelson, and Jennings, then below them Cobb and 1 year of Watson. None of those guys have a CLEAR CUT claim to being #2 talent-wise over G. Wilson

 

Garrett Wilson was bananas last year. Lotta potassium in those routes

 

And Daniel Jones lmao

 

I interpreted it more like "wow Aaron Rodgers FINALLY has a good receiver again he's played with ass receivers his entire career" - Garrett Wilson is very good and absolutely could be the second best receiver Rodgers has ever thrown to but I think it's pretty hasty to jump to that after just one season and just gloss over some of the stuff Nelson, Jennings, and Driver accomplished.

Nelson had 4 really elite seasons, Driver had an incredible six season run, and Jennings had 3 great years. I know injuries derailed a lot of these guys careers too (and Jennings and Driver played in an era that was pass happy but not to the point it is now in 2023).

tldr Garrett Wilson is awesome

i hate 'on paper' season. my least favorite phrase when talking about teams before seasons lol

I mean she is right though....at least on paper. They don't have one bad starter on defense as it stands right now. Every player is average or better.

 

Anyone making the argument that Aaron Rodgers has had bad receivers his whole career needs to have their keyboard taken away from them. Permanently.
