I love that there's such a demand for album news, we're going off of tidbits of info coming from a Kardashian show of all places. It's hilarious, absurd, and I love it.

 

The Blinkverse is a weird and wonderful place.

 

Stinks Matt didn't get to show up on Kardashians. Would've been the funniest random shit if Matt Skiba had somehow appeared on both The Hills and The Kardashians

Yeah, do a Blink/Alk3 tour, and get Skiba to come out and play "Cynical" or "Bored To Death" and the crowd will go fucking crazy.

EDIT: Scratch that. Have him come out and play "No Heart To Speak Of" so we can all levitate and transcend.

 

i heard the new blink-182 album is coming out on roblox first, you need to put down some serious robux to hear it. there's also gonna be a fortnite event for it. also it's coming out next year because they're adding Yelawolf features to half the album.

 

Gotta be getting closer to the official album announcement I would think

 

Yeah, I hope we're getting closer to it and not further. That'd be pretty crazy.

The blink subreddit has a thread of people ranking blink albums and a number of them have Neighborhoods at 1. Music is subjective of course, but there is something with that subreddit where people defend Neighborhoods to the death. Any theories why?

 

they were children when it dropped. I rank it pretty high, and it came out on my 15th birthday haha

 

honestly that was my thought as well, it was their first blink album when they were really into music. And I can even buy that but they don’t say that as the reason they argue with anyone who says it has shitty production quality.

 

I've noticed that their age usually has a lot to do with it, but also, the more you pry and ask questions, the more you'll find that they probably don't even like any of Mark's contributions to the album.

There's also an overwhelming number of people on that sub that absolutely love AvA and will defend anything Tom-related, calling him the "creative driving force of the band", but then they have like 0 interest in anything Mark does. +44 "wasn't different enough from blink", but Simple Creatures and even blink with Skiba aren't blink enough.

So basically... the Tom bias has a ton to do with the love for that album on that sub. His last album with blink and the most Tom-heavy release they've ever done.
