Ha. I'm one of those people that gets paged when I'm supposed to be at my desk, but I'm out smoking. Me and this other guy do the bird call to let each other know when we are going out, so it is sort of institutional at this point.

 

This stuff blows my mind:

I walked in a patient's room and he was smoking. I told him he couldn't smoke but he was ignoring me. I told him that a lot of the stuff in there was combustible so by all means blow yourself up. He never lit up in there again. Shocked I didn't get reprimanded for it.

 

i smoke weed about as often as some people smoke cigs. also my gf smokes (both) and it doesnt bother me. but, my dad has smoked since he was a teen, ive been around it my whole life. i kind of like the smell in a way.

 

The worst is when you smoke in your house all the time and then everything smells like gross cigs. My gma tried to give me a couch and it smelled disgusting so I turned it down.

 

I wish I had some weed. I need a good connect that doesn't have banking hours.

So, I've been in my new place less than two weeks and I've already been on a date which ended up back there (impressive enough, given the horrible prison style entrance way. I'd run away if someone tried to coerce me up such a place). Maybe I'll like it here.

Just found out my ex has moved into a new place with a housemate. We've been broke up 10 months but it's so weird seeing her move on with her life whilst I'm still rattling about our old home together alone.

Definitely need to think about getting myself "back out there" sometime soon but some people's wounds heal faster than others I guess. I wouldn't know where to start anymore.

 

I can kinda relate to this. Me and my ex are moving out this weekend and I'm moving into a shitty studio while she's renting a huge house with someone with a pool and a great kitchen and full master bedroom/bathroom. She gets all the things we've talked about together and I'll essentially live in a garage. I'm more bitter/jealous than you seem though, haha.

 

I've had my time to be bitter. We've actually met up since the breakup and spoken like friends would, just caught up on how each other are doing, etc. I just go through phases now where I can't get her off my mind for a day or two.
Sorry about your situation - life is about more than materialistic things though!

 

I've been hanging out with toss girl at least a month now and we pretty much just snuggle up and watch movies on my couch. Haven't talked about being a couple, pretty much just a little kissing. Don't really know how to move forward because I'm an inept dummy

Had a date with a girl from Tinder last night. Went to a local pizza shop and was there for about 2 hours just talking and having a good time and then went back to my place to watch Drunk History. She's a library branch manager and in grad school, so she doesn't have a lot of free time, but still said she wants to try and get together again sometime before next week so well see.

She did tell me up front she has had two DUIs from when she was an undergrad so....idk. red flag there for me.


Also supposed to hang out with another girl on Thursday that I've been hanging out with for about a month now. I'm thinking I'm gonna end it soon though. We played Mortal Kombat last time we hung out and she tossed my control on the ground because she lost a match and I'm not cool w/ that.

 

Agreed, that's a bigger red flag than the two DUI's.

 

Started using the words relationship, boyfriend and girlfriend yesterday. Feels pretty great, having never used them in my life.

 

Good for you man, enjoy it.

 

Do a search for her arrest record and see if that's even all they really were.

Then search for other people you know on there. It's always a good time.
