That movie looks so bad

 

I liked it before, it's even better after the patches. It's a cozy story driven open world action rpg with an empty world and divisive writing, that I happen to enjoy.

 

I'm pretending this is what you were going for.

absolute travesty what the critics did to this cozy little game :(

the only bad thing I can say so far is that PC performance is sub par.

 

So this Sword and Fairy game is pretty fun. Not particularly challenging on normal difficulty so far but fun nonetheless. The combat is clean and responsive. I also appreciate being able to switch between characters on the fly. It's presentation is rather unique and doesn't look like any eastern RPG I've played. It looks good though it has some graphical flaws.

The voice acting style though is weirdly good. Whoever did the voice direction deserves some kudos because for a high fantasy RPG like this, the voice acting is rather grounded.

 

Sowrd and Fairy flys under the radar.

 

Anyone have any experience with with this? It’s coming to Xbox this Friday and $80 for a lifetime membership or $30/month. It’s also supporting achievements which is a win in my book. I guess it’s constantly rotating games and surprisingly has PS1 games in it.

I've heard of this! They were on Game Scoop years ago. There are some mixed things online about it. Apparently the service is pretty decent, but people just hate it because it's only retro games.

I think it's neat and like, a lot of those games are from systems I absolutely would never go out of my way to buy or want to emulate individually.

 

It's a shame the older games on Steam are untranslated. I'd love to get into the series. I played a bit of one of them once, one of the few actually in English, and it was pretty alright.

 

Just started this game on GamePass. Cool premise: its Metroidvania meets turn based rpg meets Pokémon.

 

I played a bit of that on Switch and really liked it. I need to go back eventually.

Like, that's gotta be the next Mega Man collection, right? If Capcom does another? I can't imagine they do Star Force.

 

just imagine if they do Megaman legends 1 and 2 and then finish the third game they canceled

the 10 fans of the series would go nuts

 

They'll probably release the Anti-Collection. You start playing it and it erases all your memories of the series.
