I have no doubt this will be a tremendous performance by RDJ and his best film in years. The piece of him in the opening look is promising.

He and the rest of the talent are going to bounce off of each other well. It’s like a THR roundtable but they’re actually acting instead of having discussion.

 

He's forgetting Short Cuts

 

He is basically saying he thinks it is better than Zodiac.

This looks good but Zodiac is top 10 maybe top 5 for me.

 

The first 1hr 20 minutes of Zodiac is good but it has a steep decline, tbh fam

Worth nothing that the last few films to not be given a wide release in Japan had heavy sex scenes. Given the “extended frontal nudity” this could be the case here and it’s just coincidental that it’s a film about the first atomic bomb.

The main distributor of Hollywood films within Japan (Toho-Towa) is expected to see a screening within a few weeks.

 

Looking forward to my Oppenheimer/Toy Story double feature at AMC on Friday.

6:30 showing. Gonna spoil whether or not the Trinity test is a success as soon as I get back

 

I’m expecting an explosive result

 

Barbie at 7 and Oppenheimer at 10 for me on Friday, both IMAX let’s gooo

 

I have tickets to both at 7 on Thursday. Going to run back and forth between each movie every 10 minutes.
