    Billboard:

Fall Out Boy reaches the Billboard Hot 100 as a lead act for the first time since 2016, as its update of Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire” debuts at No. 94 on the July 15-dated tally.

Honestly this is very good. Maybe more pop culture over politics than the original, but very well done.

I love the content, and the verses sound awesome. Something off about the chorus, but ah well.

  4. I still don't understand how "Love on the Other Side" didn't manage to chart...

  5. It did very well on the alt charts (still is). Hot 100 is a different beast.

LOTOS got a push on pop radio and did next to nothing. No amount of free concert tix given to your local pop station could get that song to catch on with a wider audience. The pop punk resurgence is quite overrated in the mainstream outside of just a handful of songs on alt radio
