After taking such a massive L with Meta I really resent this idiots confidence

 

It’s true! Plus, like legit back in the day, you could find fan websites super easily. I could search for “Animorphs” and find the 5 that existed and it wouldn’t be buried by tons of other nonsense. You’d get the official site and then the handful of fan sites. It was much cleaner.

 

I remember my first goals on the internet where to research everything about Batman, Spider-Man, and the X-Men that I possibly could. It was like a gold mine of nerd information and I was overwhelmed.

 

In middle school I made a Ralph Wiggum fan page and I posted pics, sound bites, quotes, etc. it was da bomb

 

In the late 90s I was frequently using hotbot.com to find any websites where I could read about Mega Man.

 

A few years ago, I ran across an old Colbert Report fanpage because I was looking for an old, obscure bit from there. It had a phenomenally comprehensive breakdown and stills of each episode. It was truly a different era of archiving.

Today, it would either be a sparse Wiki or an IG or Facebook fanpage that could disappear at any second.

 

I use the Colbert SuperPAC videos to teach my AP Gov kids about superpacs, luckily some AP Gov teacher out there has downloaded them and saved them to the shared google drive that some AP Gov teachers use, but I still use the ColbertNation website to play them because it's a lot easier to play the videos from there. Dreading the day CC takes that website down

I can't parse out whether he is saying it is premature to invite Ukraine into NATO because they are in the middle of a war right now, or if those are more two separate thoughts: they are currently in a war AND it is premature because they are not ready. Or all of the above.

Maybe eventually it will put photos of two persons next to each other and ask users to choose the "hotter" person

 

Oh cool, it does automatically include the replied to thread in the embed. Was nice to be able to basically recycle my Instagram emended code without needing too many changes.

 

But have you considered calling someone cis is more harmful than this
