It looks like thunder so I don't know if The Maine is gonna play on time or if we'll get evacuated

Eh, I just looked up the Maine’s set list and I doubt I’m going to pay to see this tour. Unless TBS’ set list blows me away, I’m glad I didnt drop $90 on a ticket

Someone posted this on Twitter for Pvris’ set. Wish I could find something for STAT though.

    Blackpink is the revolution

The prices for the Irvine date went down a few bucks in each section.

A little bummed by the Maine setlist I won't lie. Mostly cus it's missing how to exit a room, but I also wish they wouldn't waste time on Ice Cave when they have such a short set, and it's weird to me Adam didn't come out to do Love You a Little with them. How cool would it be if that was the last song of the day and all the singers came out to do it or something

My thoughts exactly. I thought they might play it together and have the singer of Pvris do Charlotte Sands part.

Also, besides the short set, Ice cave is one of my least favorite songs by them.

I agree on the Maine’s set wish they played How To Exit a Room and dropped Ice Cave.

The Maine only playing 40 min is whack.

Oof that Maine set is something. Only 9 songs with more time than the 30 min openers who are doing 10 each lol

Super happy this was a $25 concert week purchase based on the setlists from day 1

A lot of these acts, namely Stand Atlantic, Mom Jeans, Hot Mulligan, Pvris, and The Maine feel like they have been around long enough they don't need to be doing 30/40 minute "opener" type sets. Like, I know there's time constraints with this type of touring, but for the amount of money being charged and what you're getting in return from bands who have been around for a while, it does not seem worth it.

I’m curious if The Maine will have a shorter set on the days where Andrew McMahon is billed as direct support. I agree Ice Cave is an odd choice for this tour and I would rather see something else in its place.

I'd assume that all the guests are doing 40 minute sets regardless of where they're placed

How did TBS sound? I like the set for the most part but if they’re sounding like how they have been post Covid, I’ll excuse my self after set phasers to stun

That’s exactly when I left yesterday lol I personally think Adam sounds terrible.

I went to Clearwater yesterday, here’s my take away:

Check in for VIP was extremely disorganized. We were supposed to be able to get our lanyards at 11:30 but they didn’t even get them out to the tent until 12:10, doors were supposed to open at 12:30 but didn’t open until 1:05. The Maine did come out and sign things and take pictures with people (minus Kennedy) while we waited in line though so that was cool to meet them again.

I had VIP Pit and was barricade the entire show. It was the strangest pit I’ve been in, mostly because it was so empty. I feel like they undersold it even though they said pit was sold out? I liked being able to leave to get water come right back to my exact spot the entire day though. The second a band was done the whole pit cleared out. It just sucked for all the bands before The Maine and TBS lol because half of the pit would be empty but you’d have a ton of people in the seats or lawn going crazy.

There were a few sound and tech issues. Stand Atlantic had to cut 2-3 songs because some of their stuff wasn’t working, which sucked. You could tell they were pretty upset about it. They sounded amazing regardless and was one of the big reasons I was there. I met them later in the day and Bonnie said she saw me going crazy on the barricade and she appreciated it lol then I know something was happening with the Hot Mulligan guys because the guitar player seemed pissed. They were great too, just recently started getting into them.

Mom Jeans and LS Dunes were solid, they had great sets.

Pvris was definitely a highlight for me, Lynn still sounds amazing live and they seem like they’re having a ton of fun. Even though their banner wasn’t secured at the bottom and the wind brought it flying up at one point almost hitting Brian lol

What got me was how short The Maine’s set was? I love them and they sounded great and were so fun as usual. But they only played 9 songs, Pvris played 11 so why wouldn’t they play about the same or a few more since they’re direct support. That just didn’t sit right with me.

I left right after Set Phasers because I just think Adam sounds awful now and I was just so exhausted at that point, it wasn’t worth it to stay. Last time I saw TBS was in 2014 and they sounded great so it’s a little disappointing.

They let us bring reusable water bottles which helped a lot. It was extremely hot so constant water was a must. Bathroom lines were short all the time. They had food trucks which was nice.

Over all it was a great day though, I had a ton of fun, saw 3 of my favorite bands on barricade and met two of them. I can’t say I’d feel the same if I had lawn seats just because of the heat and sun, but that’s just me.
