Such a shame that all those people had conflicts on the same night after purchasing tickets lol

 

With that many tickets on sale, I'd fully expect prices to crash on the secondary market the day of or a couple days prior to the show. Keep an eye on what tickets are doing for Toronto this weekend, it's the first North American shows and it's a similar situation.

There's some large blocks of the stadium in the lower level that are maybe 60% sold for each night (playing 2 shows). Platinum pricing was removed on these and they're currently $593 CAD ($403 USD) after fees. I highly doubt she's going to move all those seats, at that price point, in the next 2 days. It'll be interesting to see if Dynamic Pricing works the opposite way and those prices drop.

Also, there's close to 3,000 seats on Stubhub, as of today, cheapest ticket to get in after fees is $135 on Sat and $170 on Sun (both upper level), but these prices have dropped around $30 just in the past 2 days.

Where's the best place to start with Steely Dan for someone who has a passing familiarity with them due to growing up on classic rock radio when my old man drove?

I understand they are very much an "album" band so I cosign this, but the Showbiz Kids compilation hits a LOT of the high points too so that might be a good option if you're familiar in passing - it all depends how you get into bands.
