The Strangers is just alright imo. Prey At Night was a fun slasher tho, plus it has that pool scene

Yeah I couldn't get into it at all. Liv Tyler took me completely out of the movie.

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

Gourley and Rust sharing their virginity stories on the Sinister ep of WGAR was screamingly funny and also incredibly heartening.

I think a lot of us like to match what we're watching to the season. What's everyone's favorite summer horror movies?

Beyond some of the obvious summer camp slashers and shark flicks, I think Us and Nope are perfect this time of year. I really enjoyed the anthology Southbound. You would think Pumpkinhead would be a Halloween movie, but I think it fits way better in late summer. The IT mini-series is a perfect summer watch. The Lost Boys, X, Just Before Dawn, just to name a few more.

A New Beginning is still baffling to me for so many reasons but why why why introduce a vagrant who works for the screaming white trash mother/son family only to be stabbed and killed a few scenes later.

Watched Duel for the first time recently and it's a great Summer pick too.

  21. Just saw that Infinity Pool is on Hulu, I guess that's also a summer pick. I probably won't watch it again yet but Mia Goth on the car is one of my favorite horror film visuals in recent memory

  24. 12 Feet Deep was soooo bad. Holy moly.

On the other hand, Sinistre is like a SOV, no-budget, supernatural version of Reservoir Dogs lol it was awesome

Doing The Visit today and watch partying Evil Dead Rise with a friend

  25. Also, if you ever wanted a film about the ghost of a Samurai haunting a Wisconsin family on Christmas through the lens of an 80s slasher with unbelievable effects, Blood Beat is the movie for you. Truly nothing like it.
