Because so many people here think New Again sucks? You’re right, that is “bad opinions thread” behavior.

 

I mean numerous times I've said it has some good songs on it. The fact that it's the most talked about album in here is batshit though

 

There's definitely an argument to be made that we don't need to talk about it as much because it's universally known that it's their best album. It would be like just telling people that the sky is blue.

 

I'll just wait for a new album thread at this point lol

 

I thought we wanted to stop talking about it.

 

I just talk about it because if it gets mentioned at all people have to remind you it’s fucking terrible. So I like to gently remind everyone it’s actually good.

 

It has four songs I really like/love but I'm just not going to engage on it anymore at all. So some good has come of this I suppose

I’m going to stop listening to the single because when the album drops I want it to feel…New Again.

 

It's really shocking how much of a decline there's been in fan interest, sales and quality with everything post New Again.

I remember being at a show in Memphis and the crowd just started chanting "NEW AGAIN, NEW AGAIN!" It soon devolved into absolute chaos and the band members were dragged off stage one by one into the crowd as people screamed "Well my dear what deep roots you have. All the better to hold you down!"

The band took a pretty hard look at themselves after that.
