I finally listened to Office Hours Live (started with the recent one with Maron) thanks to me now being podcast recap brothers with Tim and I must say, that was a good ‘cast.

 

Have never listened to that but get ads for it when listening to Podcast The Ride and man I hate those ads

 

Just got tickets to see Whitmer Thomas next month, don’t even know if it’s stand up or just music but I’m excited.

 

Might need to grab tickets to that

 

I’d do it quick, super small venue that always sells out but I don’t think they officially announced it yet

 

I caught Whitmer opening for Slaughter Beach Dog early this year and he was full band (Just him and two other guys), was a surprisingly great set since I didnt know him at all at the time.

 

I wanted to see him when he came here, but unfortunately didn't make it. It think it was a band performance, which interests me less than his stand up, but I'm sure would still be fantastic

 

YKS premium episode with Zach cherry was hilarious. DB’s quiz had me dying.

 

Any YKS heads ever leave a voicemail on the piss line?

 

I've called in and jokingly bitched about Blocked Party once. I remember back in the day DB would just answer it randomly and that always intimidated me from calling.

I've sent them a couple packages to the PU box a few years ago too. The one I remember off the top of my head was when I found a toilet shaped metal weed pipe on wish.com for like $3 once so I sent it to DB.

 

I started listening to the archives from the beginning and little things will make me want to call, but I can never commit to what I actually want to call about. I was already intimidated that I might hear my voice on the show, but knowing that someone might pick up is terrifying lol.

 

I need to listen to YKS because both those dudes are hilarious.

 

Episode 181 Who wants to be a Millionare with Block Party is a good one to start it. It doesn't really give you a feel of what the show is normally like but it's ridiculously funny.

 

I know I’ve been online too long when I immediately knew the guest on Blocked Party was that comedian who gets bullied for her wild voice/vibe just from her voice.
