I need a sanity check:

I got my raise today. It's a 4% bump. It keeps me $3,000 under what my salary should be just accounting for inflation, $13,500 under what I asked for, $20,000 under the salary I've been offered at both of my 2nd jobs and $50,000 below the average compensation for my title.

I also was not technically promoted, as I will not be having senior tacked on my title, despite many others who started after me receiving the title change and will seemingly not be moving to the team I wanted to move to, and will still be reporting to the director who tried to get me to hop on a zoom 9 minutes before Milo was born.

But it is a raise and others don't get them so there is that. Would ya'll be pissed or am I overreacting and being ungrateful

 

I think its totally okay to be grateful to get a raise but also disappointed because of the other things you mentioned. Both things can be true.

I was told a month ago that a promotion offer (with what I expect to be a $15k raise) was being put together for me and I'm still waiting on that. I'm about to lose my mind waiting.

Lol, it's absurd. I asked to me made a Marketing Operations Manager, which would pay around $20k more than my current title based on Boston averages. They instead made me Manager, Marketing Technology, which has an average compensation $30k above a Ops Manager.
