Will Ramos is just an awesome dude

 

The amount of times I've gotten mistaken for him online in places where my face is shown is fucking insane. Dude is the spitting image of me if I was a guy. Especially when I still had the bleached-blonde hair from faded dye jobs.

 

This is a damn fine bar to have imo, Acacia Strain are something special

 

New CC album dropping September 22nd

 

hello and welcome to another edition of THRASH METAL THVRSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First we have a new EP from Norwegian thrashers Autonomie. These kids are only like 16-18 years old and already tearing it up in the Norwegian underground scene. Came out June 9th, a quick 21 minute listen:

Next, and I know this might be weird and/or cheating, but I'm posting a King Gizzard song with the disclaimer that I've never listened to this band a day in my life and this is the first song of theirs I've heard. That being said, it feels pretty thrashy even if it doesn't stay that way from beginning to end. And they're in the Archives, so you know they're metal.

And lastly here's a new single from Brazilian death thrashers Payback. I'm not sure when the new album comes out because I can't read Portuguese, but if the rest of it is like this song then color me excited:

Apropos of nothing but I do not understand why bands that aren’t on large labels put Parental Advisory stickers on their releases. Aesthetic choice? Not like it matters

 

it adds like 25% more cool points to your album if it has one

 

It’s pretty much a cool guy badge, yeah

 

I remember buying CDs with Parental Advisory stickers when I was in high school and being so nervous when I went to pay the counter that I'd get in trouble without an adult present lol

 

Anyways, happy Tsjuder, Xasthur, Jag Panzer, Nocturnal Breed, Tomb, Luminous Veil, etc release day to all those that celebrate

 

A good friend of mine is the vocalist of this band. Signed to Church Road and a good mix of Death Metal and scathing Metallic Hardcore.
Record came out today.

Metal Archives never stop being hilarious to me....Tool, Kvelertak, Deftones, Slipknot all barred but King Gizzard and their 95% non-metal output are allowed in lol

Kinda wish Pissgrave was more of an active band and this was coming further south but beggars can't be choosers. Miiiight try to make it to Baltimore for this. Miasmatic Necrosis was great live back in December when I saw them.
