I mean from what i saw he was basically arguing a “don’t scare off the normies by being a weird dude celebrating death online” and people jumped into his mentions. Of course he’s gonna spend the next two days arguing about it, he’s serially online!

I honestly just know the guy because he became a villain for downplaying the impacts of the Ohio train derailment and defending media coverage when the biggest criticism was the media was not listening to people who are claiming serious health issues. but now he is saying we should care more about rich people who did this to themselves? No fuck you, you don’t get to make that point while saying poor people who were exposed to deadly chemicals through no fault of their own are exaggerating and deserve less coverage.

 

I don’t see anywhere him saying we should “care more about rich people who did this to themselves” lol. From what I saw he basically said yeah I feel bad for the people in the sub and celebrating their deaths is kind of weird and a turn off. Seems like a stupid thing to jump doesn’t his throat for IMO! That’s like, a completely legitimate thought to have on this and it’s probably in the majority! We don’t have to pretend he’s public enemy number 1 because he didn’t immediately say “woo yeehaw those guys died” lol

Anyway his tweets generally annoy the shit out of me on some issues so I don’t really care that much about him, more the general point he’s making on not looking like deranged lunatics to the normies. I mostly like him for annoying Matt Y on Twitter.

Yeah when the committee announced that the vaccines should be XBB.1.5 I was happy but a little bit “hmm” because I knew we already knew XBB.1.5 was being outgrown by the latest variant. Why wouldn’t you direct to make it about that variant instead? So you can get the vaccine out in July when hardly anyone is going to take it instead of October or whatever?

I never saw any of his stuff about the train derailment and it sounds like what he said sucks if what’s being said here is accurate!
