I feel like it'd be more likely if he didn't work so hard to bring the legion of dogshit receiving to the Jets as well

There's an equally easy scenario to envision where Rodgers is a loser who constantly lets down and blames everyone else.

Not saying there isn’t room for error. He’s older, switching teams, Hackett, but the Jets making a legit playoff run should shock absolutely know one unless your memory does not go back further than one calendar year. If that is the case, there’s another discussion to be had.

It’s a good thing Garrett Wilson is significant better than anyone who played in GB last year and Corey Davis is a solid starter

Aren’t you the same guy in here begging us to believe the Patriots will be better because they hired fucking Bill O’Brien?

I think the Jets will have a good season but finish 3rd because of the Phins and Bills.

It’s not “buying in” to acknowledge a very possible range of outcomes. I mean, Murph said it best. The Bills and defensive coordinator extraordinaire Sean McDermott almost lost to the Skyler Thompson-led Dolphins lol

Yes, I believe the Patriots will be better off with Bill O'Brien as offensive coordinator, than Matt Patricia. Hot take. Make sure to wear an oven mit for that one lol.

Rodgers is basically a .500 quarterback in the playoffs with his last Super Bowl appearance coming during the 1st term of the Obama administration lol. Color me not sold that he's gonna unsad the saddest of franchises.

I guess to be fair making the playoffs is really easy with a 7 seed present (I still maintain that this is dumb). AFC is just strong as is so yeah I still don't see it. Wouldn't surprise but I don't see it.

    Playoff Locks:
    Chiefs
    Bills
    Bengals

    AFC South: Probably Jags

That means the following teams are fighting for 5,6 & 7
    Dolphins
    Jets
    Steelers
    Ravens
    Chargers
    Colts

Sounds like about 50/50 chance they make the playoffs lol

No one is disputing that lol

I fucking watched Nick Foles uncork his huge dick to a Super Bowl victory and Dave is out here shitting on people for even considering that maybe the Jets could win a playoff game or two with Aaron Rodgers at QB

    Be serious

Corey Davis is one of the best WR3 in the league.

He is a meh starter, but as a role player, he's a big target and he blocks well outside. He's also injury prone...so a limited role might keep him on the field more.

Not setting the world on fire, but this is good:

    Garrett Wilson
    Allen Lazard
    Corey Davis
    Randall Cobb
    Mecole Hardman

    Conklin/Uzomah/Ruckert is solid too

    The rivalry is back on

I am a BOB The Football Coach apologist (as opposed to BOB The Football Exec, who is on the short list of worst we’ve seen in the NFL this decade), but that extends more to HC than OC. I can’t really quantify why he wins games and consistently over-performs the talent on the roster despite pretty bland playcalling, but there’s about a decade of history between Penn St and Houston that makes it feel like more than SSS

BOB as OC in New England is probably… fine? Which is better than the actively bad of last year

Blocking is important, but the pro football reference and fantasy football points don’t show it

Rodgers throwing to Wilson/Lazard/Davis in the redzone is a problem for every NFL defense. It's a very well balanced receiving corps.

I'm just happy that I no longer have to watch Denzel Mims and Elijah Moore line up in the wrong place multiple times a game.

Would I like a better starting trio than Garrett Wilson, Corey Davis, and Allen Lazard? Yes, but you can do a lot worse than that. You could have JuJu Smith-Schuster, DeVante Parker, and Tyquan Thornton

Or you could have Nico Collins, Robert Woods, and Noah Brown

Or you could have Adam Thielen, DJ Chark, and Jonathan Mingo

Or you could have whatever starting trio the Giants plan on running out there
