I made it my #1 priority to upgrade the sheikah set asap lol it's so clutch in this game, stealth is as useful as hearts and stamina imo

I never use stealth. Most pointless thing in the game since there doesn’t appear to be any real need for it. There’s no Yiga Hideout from BOTW equivalent here, and thank goodness for that. Nor an obnoxious shrine quest in the korok forest. Great call. Plus, with puffshrooms, you don’t even need to be subtle to get a sneak strike.

The only “stealth” thing I can think of is the kids who tell you where King Dorephan is. That’s all I’ve done the whole game where it was “required.”

Also, hell yes to not having any shrines force you into using motion controls.

I’m wearing the Hero set, 4 stars. Gives an attack bonus and maxes out at 60 defense. I beat the game with it, and now I’m tracking down all of the misko’s treasure armor, and then the evil spirit armor.

Totally disagree! It makes everything easier- riding horses, gathering critters, fairies, sneak attacking bokoblins, etc. plus fast travel at night.

Edit: OK I do get the puffshroom and muddlebud thing, those are better

    Riding horses?

I have no issues gathering critters or fairies. Puffshrooms are sneak attacks best friend. I can just ride a horse to go faster if I have a need to. If you like using it, cool. But it’s not really that helpful in this game.

To get a horse the first time I mean, it's much easier with stealth

It’s actually easier to drop down from above. Plus, all my horses from BOTW carried over, so I’m not really grabbing horses that often.

we've seen the shadow of the axe before Supporter

I've only completed the wind temple so far but I've been enjoying Hyrule and trying to knock out some shrines to get some more hearts. I've completed 70 something shrines and have opened up almost the entire map, including the depths. Anyhow while exploring I came across this shrine quest or shrine(?) that took me to dragonsomething island. I was then lead to the depths and after completing this mini temple I am now Mechalink with spike balls attached to my robot arms and flame/shock emitters also attached. I got to it real late last night and had to pause because I did not have the time I wanted to spend with it. Now I'm wondering the extent to which this is gonna go and if you might have this the rest of the way?

is the spirit temple/construct factory quest worth doing?

I mean, I enjoy calling in 5 friends instead of 4 to kick ass.

By kick ass, I mean do a little damage.

Yes. It’s a key main story quest.

Man I just did the coliseum in the depths with the onslaught of Lynels… sheesh that was tough. I got desperate on the last one and attached an Ancient Blade to a sword and it vaporized him in like one hit. Ha. So just FYI, that’s an easy way to beat them (although it seems like it’s a single-use item).

I found that one early on and was not prepared for such a fight. I should go back and do it the right way.

You can also attach them to arrows. Either way no loot sadly.

went on a run today and saw a detached car wheel on the sidewalk. literally caught myself wondering "hm what could I use that for?" before I realized I am not living within a goddamn video game lmao

Haha now that I have like 15 more hearts and know to prep, I can do four in a row. I made it to the third when I was unprepared.

Haha you got this! I’ll try to get back to it tonight myself. Right now I’m just unlocking more of the depths and following up on old map locations.
