It can't be one of the worst contracts in the league and simultaneously get you a player like Herro in return. Wiz kicked the can so far down the road and then gave him a NTC on top of it. They're going to have to eat it.

I get Miami wanting to hold onto Herro if they can, but also he and Beal play the same position so that could be interesting. I suppose Herro goes back to the 6th man role, or they just start two SGs. I still can't believe Washington gave him an NTC.

 

If they get Beal without giving up Herro….I think they’ll try to use him to get Dame.

It sounds crazy and dreamland, and it probably is. But if Dame finally says trade me, he’ll want Miami. And I think Miami will be very aggressive this offseason with Jimmy aging.
