I'm not there yet but apparently there's a few ways to get the Master Sword? The Lost Woods/Deku Tree way and the Geoglyphs/tears quest?

Is that right? I'm about 5 geoglyphs down so might just keep doing it that way. I haven't even been to the forest yet.

Correct, but I’m sure you could also just get it if you know how to without even doing the quests. You’d be missing out on the story from the tears though.

Those will tell you it's location, but technically you can go get it as soon as you have 2 full stamina wheels, just might be a little harder to find.

nothing worse than climbing a giant ass wall in the Depths slowly as you can only to realize it leads straight to the ceiling lol

Did that yesterday thinking I could climb to the top, and over the other side to get to a treasure. Nope, straight to the ceiling.

Fell and died and had to go back to my last autosave, worst.

I found the best way to navigate the depths is to climb the lightroot stalks as high as possible, scan the distance for the next lightroot and then glide over. I’ve gotten pretty efficient at using ascend to avoid having to climb anymore.

Everyone should be autobuilding themselves a hovercraft for exploring the Depths - a thought which never occurred to me until after I fully explored them.

I think you’re really hurting yourself if you don’t have two stamina wheels

You can fast travel at any point in time, including while falling without stamina

If you have the money, try reallocation to two wheels and see how it feels, I think it’ll change the game for you

Sure, I'll die faster with less hearts. Sorry Moose, no thanks.

Just don’t forget that you’ll need the stamina for the master sword

That's fine. The sword can wait. I've got like a billion other things to do in the meantime.

A thought just occurred to me though. Not that I plan to do this at all, but do you need two wheels of stamina to wield the Master Sword, or just to get it? Like, could you concievably get stamina to get the sword, and then dump it all back into hearts once you get it?

You need the two wheels just to get it.

If you get and fully upgrade the champion’s tunic, you barely even need hearts. I used that with non-upgraded phantom helmet and greaves and the demon king could barely hurt me at the end. I don’t even think he was doing one heart of damage when he landed a hit.

I’m starting to feel the urge to just go beat the game and finish up all the side stuff I still haven’t done later. I’m at 95 hours (which is crazy), just finished the regional phenomena quest, 21 hearts and full stamina. I mostly just have like some side quests, monster hunting and armor quests/upgrades otherwise.

Just be aware that the game doesn’t pick up after the ending. You just reload your save before you go to the point of no return.

Oh yea. You can do that.

And stick to only upgrading hearts haha I don’t think it hurts you to not have two stamina wheels. I did decide to get the second wheel and some things are easier, sure. But I don’t think it’s necessary to play the game. It’s all about what you choose to do. That’s the beauty of the game. Do whatever you want in whatever order you want.
I wish I knew where to get the champion’s tunic now.

Also, the master sword doesn’t wear down in this game? And doesn’t show its strength? You can fuse to it and it’ll show plus whatever, but no total number.
