I'm pretty excited to read about all the changes to Cyberpunk and will most likely give it another playthrough and make slightly different decisions (though I'm happy with the ending I got, and I won't pick decisions I don't like just to see a new outcome). I did maybe 40% of the gigs, nearly all the side quests (skippy never triggered the return to owner part of the quest), and I bought a few cars and most of the apartments - total time was right at 74 hours.

The most exciting parts of the news:
- Armor being tied to things other than clothing seems cool, as if you picked the highest level armor all the time, you often looked like an absolute dumbass. It'd be cool to wear whatever you want because it looks cool and still have good armor.
- The cops just spawning out of nowhere is a fix that's been looooooong needed. At times, that was almost game breaking - EX if you hit a civilian in a mission and then boom, cops everywhere. You could also be on a roof and snipe people below and boom cop.
- Of course the expansion looks dope and I'm excited to learn more about where it fits in the story and I hope that right out of the gate the graphics are insane and a step up to where we all thought cyberpunk would be on release.

Raven made Hexen, id “only” published it, nevertheless I’d be far more interested in them making Hexen instead of a new Doom. That said this might be the new a MachineGames Game. (Besides Indy)

 

I will take anything from that group. Except another Youngblood, no thank you.

 

That color burns my retinas, much like the ill-fated Virtual Boy.

 

I would absolutely be down for a modern take on Hexen. I have fond memories of that game, even though I was introduced to it on N64 and not PC.

 

This is all fine and dandy but I'm not letting them reset my expectations. I'm expecting bugs aplenty. This is old buggy Bethesda until they prove to me they're new bug-less Bethesda. lol

 

I've said it before, but Bugfesta.

 

just need to keep my head down and ignore the ffxvi demo for 10 more days while I keep working on zelda and diablo

on top of that I genuinely can’t stop thinking about

i’m actually really hoping everything after starfield comes out is not a must play so I can go back and finish zelda, jedi survivor, elden ring, diablo cause i’ll definitely not have those finished by the time FF gets here

This makes me really happy. I kind of wish it was a remake of the NES game, but this'll do.

What's wild is now there are two Little Nemo Metroidvania games in the works. Slumberland's cup runneth over.

 

This guy gets it. This is the game we want.

 

But no though.

 

Finally got around to watching the starfield video and it looks great. For someone who constantly changes their mind on preference on 1st or 3rd person games, I wonder which will play better.

EDIT: I also wonder if it'll play well on my PC... I have a PS5 and don't really want to buy an xbox but I am not sure my PC will play it and I am not tech savvy and absolutely am terrified of it not working and having to go through a complicated debugging process. It was a pretty high end gaming laptop but by the time this releases, it'll be 3 years old.

 

Just starting the FF16 demo, it is immediately interesting. I gotta say though, the active time lore feature is unbelievably great, since it jumps right into things I can just pause the cut scene and get all the background info on everything I am looking at.


Brilliant.

Someone with my level of ADHD has trouble staying completely engaged in long cut scenes so this is perfect.

 

Hexic HD is so good. We need that over Starfield or whatever.

 

Don't touch perfection though, let Hexic HD continue to reign as is

They just released the specs. You should be fine. Plus steam return policy is generous.

obv if you can get us the hardware profile of your laptop we can give you a ballpark

 

Real talk: the reason why starfield is 30fps is not a GPU bottleneck, it’s hammering the processor quite hard with a lot of simulations, so if anything I’d be worried about your laptops thermal profile.
