The difference between 74 and 68 is completely negligible outdoors - 68 and sunny feels hotter than 74 and cloudy

however, inside, turning the AC down 6 degrees feels like you turned it down 20. There’s no happy medium for me. it’s either too stagnant and hot inside or you’re getting refrigerated air directly blowing on you.

I hate central air… I really only keep it on when it’s extremely hot from late June to Labor Day and fans aren’t making a dent in the temp. Otherwise just turning it on for 15 minutes to cool down my house and then using fans to maintain that temp is better

I would 100 times out of 100 rather have 90 degrees than 0 hahaha

90 sucks but I can take it. Shoot I’ve gone out street busking / performed outdoor shows with the sun directly on me in 90 degree weather.

0 is like, I don’t care how many layers I’m wearing, I need to get inside ASAP

I’ve played soccer on the beach in 97 degrees and high humidity. As long as I have plenty of water and somewhere to go take breaks and cool off (in this case the ocean) I can be out all day in heavy heat and humidity

when it’s below 20 I don’t even want to walk to my car to get something out of it lol

 

Even with our central AC set for 68-69 all the time, the solar panels have kept our electric bill at a cool $0.

 

The best temperatures outside is a range of 53-87, anywhere in there I can be cozy outside. (This is partially why I LOVE Hawaii, that’s basically the year round temperature range). I prefer shorts if it’s 87, I prefer a long sleeve or a thin flannel + jeans if it’s 53, but all those temps are comfortable for me

the best temperatures inside though, is a range of like 73-75 and I very quickly get uncomfortable outside that range

I remember like 3 years ago when it iced over in DFW and the whole state lost power, took my dog to piss and she immediately started running laps in the grass so even she prefers the cold lol
